Welcome to the forum Kieron. What sort of things need to get fixed? What year, model and engine do you have?

Its a 2002 model 1.9 litre diesel DW series engine....what I
need to fix....mmmmm

nearside front position lamp not working.... now fixed
offside stop lamp not working.... now fixed
nearside headlamp aim too low.... to be done
power steering pipes or hoses leaking from joint.... now fixed
offside steering rack gaiter split.... to be done
nearside steering gaiter split.... to be done
brake load sensing valve seized.... to be done
parking brake lever has no reverse travel.... to be done

so a bit to do yet, i would say a little concerned regards their
description of the steering rack gaiters as I can't find any
splits, but the rubbers at the end of the track rod ends are
perished and split...could they mean these, are these a fail
on a MOT???

Cheers
Kieron

Cheers muply, well between dodging the showers and not being
able to speak to the guys who carried out the MOT I have decided
to replace the track rod ends aswell as the steering gaiters on
both sides, I think replacing the track rod ends has made replacing
the gaiters a touch easier, well on the drivers side anyway and for
the total price £32 for all the parts a job worth doing I guess.

The garage wanted £39 per hour + VAT to carry out the repairs and
estimated 4-6 hours work so saved myself a few quid along the
way.

You could be right there Ron, right time to tackle
the load sensing valve, but first of all where is it
located? anyone? pictures would be great.
