berlingo new style
#21
The front of the new Berlingo looks a bit like a Vauxhall Combo.

Well said about the rear seat belts.

I DO MISS MY BERLINGO Heart

Has anyone access to the Citroen file server? We could do with a copy of this .PDF off the STéFi server
PIB021 BERLINGO MULTISPACE MODEL YEAR 20 & DIESEL ENGINE REHOMOLOGATION.pdf
dated 21/2/12
to get the info from the source as to what is going on.

I agree, the present model XTR has a distictive, almost rugged look at the front.Whereas this new XTR looks exactly like the present Tepee.

Thinking about this you may have the answer - a rationalisation of design so that Tepee and Berlingo have minimum variation between the 2 models which would save manufacturing costs on the same production line-grille/badging being the only difference - is there a picture of a revised Tepee I wonder?

Here you go...........

.........virtually identical, you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart

Black Trim on Berlingo, Painted on Tepee, differing Grilles and that's it - as before much prefer current XTR with more black on front - I suppose this is prompted by now mandatory requirement for daytime running lights
!?. New Tepee looks like Kangoo, now not imported to UK - not a good thing! Glad to stick with my XTR and hope the change design before my next one in 4 years time!

This face lift is now finally up on the citroen website, under new cars, Berlingo Multispace, configure vehicle but some options are still missing and the price list is not updated.

You cant specify the detection pack still and the distinctive "snout" of the XTR is indeed gone and oddly the VTR now looks more butch with a Black "U" where the old XTR was silver.

The website, brochure and price list is otherwise still there in its old form. However it looks like maybe the heat reflective windscreen from the auto aircon pack might now be on all XTRs.

Sadly the old black "front corner" bumpers are now only available on the pug varient. Just where my hedge diving gives me those scratches

Just a further note to say the Berlingo brochure on the Citroen website is now updated with the new spec models.

Very little has changed, DRLs new logo, wide mouth frogs with updated paint jobs. Emissions or power incrementally tweaked, Nothing of much importance. other than of course prices drifting ever upward.

Maybe there is an engineering tweak or two. We live in hope.
