Dreams of stealth camping... any cheap conversion units about?
#1
Helloo! Conversions, I still have the Scooby van dream, even in this weather! I really would like something like the Amdro boot jump but that costs nearly as much as I paid for the car  Does anyone know of a talented person in the Manchester area that makes them for a reasonable price or has one for sale? Doesnt have to be as fancy as the Amdro one but I want to leave the seats in & be able to have a bed.

Ah... now I find the camping thread... Confusedillyme: I will have a mooch on there too!

Out with my hound this morning and somebody round the corner from me has a Doblo one of these:-

Expensive yes, but a nice looking piece of kit (for a Fiat). Some years ago before I got mine, I saw an M49 kitted out in a similar manner. It didn't have the high top and had been done, by the look of it, by the owner but still a practical vehicle.

That does look good, amazing what can be done with the space. I think I want one that can go in the boot space while the back seats are still in, I haven't got anywhere to store them.
