CD player not working
#1
I recently had my aftermarket CD player stolen from my berlingo (52 plate, 1.9d 600). I have replaced it with the original CD player (a psarcd100 04). When I turn on the ignition, it makes the usual noise, and I'm able to eject / insert CDs, however there is no sound and the car's LCD console display does not show anything related to the stereo.

Can anyone give me detailed instructions for reinstalling the CD player?

If it helps, here is what I have done so far.

I plugged the two block-like connectors into the back of the stereo (there's only one way they can fit), and the aerial plug into its socket. There were three other 'loose' cables (one pink, one green and one white). The green and white ones seem to fit onto two matching connectors attached to short cables coming from the main block-like connector, so I connected them. The pink one I have left unconnected.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

It could have, I was just wondering if I had done anything obviously wrong wiring it in, or if it needs to be coded or something.

Also, does anyone know what the pink wire is for?
