Its that airbag again, is this a cure

When you say deconfigure do you mean disconnecting the airbag to stop it firing in case you have an accident?

Thank you that would get be past the first hurdle and gives me time to get the cash for the auto spark to fix it permanently. Personally based on past experience I would rather not have air bags , but since it became a legal requirement I will get it fixed.
