Hi all,
Hoping for a bit of advice for a complete novice (me)...
I have decided to do my own oil change on my 2003 2.0 Hdi Berlingo and am wanting to make sure I drain my oil sump and NOT the gearbox....
Could someone please confirm which sump nut is the engine oil for me? illyme:
Many thanks,
Kevin.

Hi, item 2 in the drawing. You will have a different sump if you have air con. But it's roundabout the same place.

WOW, thanks for the detailed response Rustscrat
That is the one I released in the end, after much effort and various tools....It was on absolutely solid and unfortunately I ended up rounding the nut, but luckily it had a central allen key fitment that I used to loosen it.
Does anyone know if a Peugeot Partner sump nut would fit, only I want to get a new one and we don't have a Citroen main dealer where I live, but there is a Peugeot:thumbsup:

Yep, they will be able to sort you out. Tell them it's from a DW10 engine(with or without air con) and they might have one on the shelf.

OK, I now have my new sump plug which is manufactured by a company called 'Corteco'.
In the packet there are two washers, one copper and the other steel with a rubber gasket.
Anyone know which washer I use? cratch:

I've done exactly as you suggest Andy and fitted a new copper one with the new plug.
Still torturing myself about which oil to get....
When I was in the Peugeot dealership this morning they only had Total Quartz7000 10W40 in, but am swaying towards getting the Comma SynerD 5W40 for some reason......

Think I would be swayed towards the Total out of choice. I used it in my old Pug306 and have used it in my 'Lingo, though this time I used some Semi-Synth by Morris Lubricants as this came as a "package deal" from my local motor factor and included oil and filter plus air and fuel filters all for about £40.00, a massive saving on main dealer's prices and I did it myself so no labour content...
