Service Spanner On Dashboard

Anyone tell me how to turn the service spanner off with the ignition key

Press the brake and hold down the milometer button. Turn the ignition key but don't start the car. It will count down from 10 to 0. Turn off ignition and service spanner will be reset.

I think it's a standard procedure for most cars.

However, it's not to replace having the car serviced I should add Smile

done mine a couple of days ago. same as above but i didnt touch the brake.

I did my MK 2 a little while back and just held the button down with ignition on. No pedal needed for me.

I put a brand new adjustable OE spanner on the dash and tried this...I even closed my eyes
but when I opened them again the spanner was still there and I had to put it back in the tool box manually.....:whistle:Confusedcratch::lol:
