[Engine] Turbos . . .
#1
I`ve heard though not on this site, that turbos can give expensive trouble. Oilways becoming clogged, resulting in a pricey garage job. Around £1200 or more . . .
My car`s 3yo and hasn`t given problems; indeed we`re well chuffed with it overall, and would like to leep it for another 3 or 4 years.
What`s the best way to avoid turbo probs?

The best way to avoid turbo failure is to ONLY use the oil recommended by Citroen. Confusedalut:

Change the oil frequently, about 6-8000mls.Use good quality oil of the right spec, likewise the filter.

And always let the turbo cool down especially after a long run or working hard. Like wise after starting 30 seconds or so before even revving the engine lets cold thick oil get to the turbo.
