Couldn't agree more.
But people tend to think about it more in the winter.
And why would anyone use blue anymore?
What am I? An encyclopedia?
Why don't people use mineral oil in modern vehicles? Or leaded petrol?
Because things move on, specs change, R&D, closer tolerances, health and safety.
And we don't send children up chimneys anymore.

After a little bit of further reading I have found some more information regarding antifreeze & summer coolant that may be of interest to the Forum.
Basically use red, not blue for the reasons explained in this link. :thumbsup:

It's been called Bluecol since 1937.
My Dad used it in the 1950s.
That's ages ago...
