window fault
Need some pointers please, wound window down tday and it dropped quite a bit manged to push back in place,I gather cable operated, of some description, havent got the door aprt yet.Is it easy fix, also when doing cam belt is it advisable to do water pump, engine has done 70k?

any help cheers murf.
Never done a cambelt on berlingo. (Haven't got book in front of me.)

Only on a Golf MK5, but yes if changing cambelt always change waterpump too as you don't want to have to remove cambelt just to change waterpump in future.
The widow winder arrangement is a amalgamation of nylon pulleys and cables which wear the nylon pulleys out. best visit a scrappie and change the whole assembly rather than try to repair. Sometimes the window guide bracket which hold the window glass guide in place rust away/break and the glass drops out.

I personally woundnt change the water pump unless noisey or it didnt feel right but I take the chance of it lasting another 70k.
Not worth changing the cam belt without changing the water pump at
the same time. IMHO. Likewise if the water pump fails you may as well
fit a new cam belt while you have the whole thing apart.
