Using Lexia 3 on M59
#1
I recently invested in Lexia 3 and have used it on a Lenovo netbook. I tried to change the Eco Mode timeout. This is shown on Lexia as
00000000030. I guess this means 30 mins. I tried changing it to 60 minutes by changing the 3 to a 6. But how do you save a change. There are a number of "buttons" on the right of the screen. The top one looks like a carriage return sign (left arrow with vertical bit on right). Under that is an icon which definitely means return to the previous screen, but does it save what you have changed? I also tried turning Showroom Mode ON but the same thing happened. I made the change, as I thought, but when I opened the page again it was set at OFF. I did all this in BSI/Configuration/Manual configuration, then tried again using BSI/Configuration/Manual configuration with assistance. Same result. Is there some part of the system which prevents changes to these parameters?

there are some buttons along the bottom of the screen, one of which allows you to save your changes. it sounds like you need to alter your screen resolution so you can see these buttons (I had exactly the same problem).
One of the "F" keys does the "save" command but I can't remember which it is (I think it's F1 or F3).
Once you are able to save you may need to enter a code to allow you to save your changes - that can be found somewhere on this forum.

As knobblywobbly said get your screen resolution set so that you can see the buttons at the bottom (they are not there on all screens).
Then you may find this little gem helpful http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=2524
- I did.
Good luck. Confusedalut:

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried to change screen size using CTRL and minus but nothing happened. Also, I did not find anything on the bottom edge. I did however have success with F3 which I think is save. As a result I have been able to change the Eco mode timeout from 30 mins to 90 minutes.

I must say that this program (Lexia) is very good. It's a bit quirky but very capable when you get used to it.

Thanks to all who have helped me make progress. I will now mark this as solved.
