timing belt cost

Im new to the site so justlooking for some advice as im hopefully getting an 04 partner 2.0hdi..
So im wondering how much on average would a timing belt kit be and do you need to change the water pump?

Do the alternator belt at the same time.......You should get it all for around £90 or less even - Ebay - and yes change the water pump.

Mine cost me !180 all in last year - this was done "after hours". Also included changing the crankshaft pulley, which I supplied - that's something that you should consider depending on the mileage

Sorry, no idea on fitting costs as I do my own.

£185 + vat is a good price for belt and tensioners fitted, an extra £40 to do the pump
