If you have bled the system and there is no air then its possible that the heater matrix is partially blocked. You can disconnect the luke warm pipe and check the flow out of the matrix.
Maybe that the pipes are collapsing inside and partially blocking the flow , you can check the flow at the return end to the engine.
Others possible reasons are that the cables operating the heater are slipping and not fully working the controls.

They do silt up terribly. I had neat vinegar in a scrapped (blocked) one for a week and even after power flushing it a few times, the flow was still poor. The tubes have internal turbulating spirals that collect junk and eventually block flow.

Hi Chinzboy1, I've just started to suffer the same problem, radiator and thermostat changed but no significant increase in the heat. Will check the tubes in the AM but would be interested to hear what if any your solution was

Years ago we always used to 'reverse flush'.
Usually did the trick.
Things may be a little more complicated these days? Confusedcratch:
Perhaps worth a try?

I recommend against using excessive pressure in the flush. Most matrices fail at the O-rings; an excess of pressure will encourage them to let go.

Aaarrrrgh, things going from bad to worse. Now only cold air blowing into the car while temperature gauge climbs really high and after running the car with the expansion cap off the elec fan ran for a good while after switching off. The gauge had again climbed too high (for me) and I chickened out. Now need to get more Anti freeze and try with the bleed nipples. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks in advance Ron:brickwall:
