BE3 Gearbox Mount
#1
Hey all,

can the gearbox mount bolt actually be removed from the gearbox itself? It would make it a lot easier for re-fitting if this wasn't in the way.

It has a hex shaft at the bottom but not sure if this is for a spanner or simply the shape of it.

Thanks

Yes, the stud is threaded in, but consider the Loctite and effects of corrosion - make sure you're not stripping the thread from the aluminium casing as it comes out.
