Hi, the drivers side door lock is really touchy and some days take 10-15 attempts to unlock (non central locking btw) and some days i can open it by just putting the tip of the key in and turning. meanwhile the passenger side is spot on and opens perfect every time... so is it possible to just swap lock cylinders from ns to os or are they different?
cheers for any help guys

The cylinders interchange; you need to remove the circlip holding the small actuation lever on the butt of each cylinder and change these to the other side.
Removal of the cylinder is effected through the oblong, plastic covered access port in the door's side - no need to remove the door card or membrane unless you accidentally drop the retainer fork into the door shell.
