Latest update.i was about to give up on my lexia and return it.
Gave it one last go.but this time i used the long lead supplied instead of the short usb to interface cable.
Well i nearly fell over when it decided to work.
All old fault codes erased these were mainly from me unplugging and testing sensors/wiring etc.
The only code that remains is p1641 injectors power stage.
As it was running before turbo replacement and the oddity of no.3 injector buzzing because its getting 1.5v.
Im swaying towards the ecu being at fault as ive tested everthing else.
Am now on the lookout for an ecu/bsi/key set or to get my ecu repaired.
Many thanks to all on the forum for the support so far.

Instead of replacing ecu/bsi and keys/locks why dont you get someone like bba reman to have a look at the ecu it would be a much easier option. Ive never used them but from what ive heard and read in magazines they have very good reputation.
Are we there yet?????

Hello rustcrat i did open the ecu looking for damage ie.water ingress or burnt parts and or damaged split tracks.even pin damage.
I found non of the afformentioned and thought it would just be a case of part replacement by the ecu doctor in plymouth who i personally dropped it off to. You do get feeling when you say its a siemens ecu that they dont like them.
Where as a bosch ecu they are more comfortable with.
Berlingo 2.0 hdi models of this age with siemens injection are fitted with a 5ws40025 e-t ecu.
The last 2 letters pertaining to the type of software fitted ive been told.
Ive seen many for to be only fitte scarce
Ive seen many for sale ending ct.ft.ht.gt and the like the et version being a bit scarce and only fitted to berlingo/partner models.

It sounds as if the guy you gave yours to won't replace discreet components.
'Blown pcb' means nothing. If the actual board is undamaged then components mounted
on it can be replaced.
I would give bba reman a ring and ask them if it can in fact be repaired.

Well chaps i bought a bsi and ecu.fitted these but had no key.so got 2 blank chips coded these to car.
I now have working eml light that goes out on cranking.both keys recognised.no annoying buzzing from injector 3.
And guess what...............it still doesnt start.
Being a novice with the lexia it does take time to find your way around.
Only one fault present and thats in the bsi says aircon evaporator sensor permanent fault.
Shows no fuel pressure on cranking and cam crank synch no. It was like this before ecu swap so thought it was the ecu playing up.
Did actuator test in injection.fuel flow regulator buzzing ok.but fuel flow regulator not making any noise at all but getting pulsing/fluctuating voltage during test sequence.
Should my rev counter go up whilst cranking?

Sorry read that back to myself.should have read hp pump fuel flow actuator working.
But fuel regulator (the bigger one) not buzzing as lexia says to check for this during actuator test in injection system.(blimey sounding technical now).
