ECU KITS

Does anyone know anything about ECU's??. Need a new ECU,BSI and ignition key for my 2003 2.0 HDI, Mine has a Siemens set up,there are kits for sale online off vans the same as mine,but the part numbers are different,if they're off a matching van,would they work on mine??

Just a thought but why do you need all that lot has it been fried. There are firms out there that can repair program ecu and the bsi unit for you.
Are we there yet????? No we fecking ain`t  gggggrrrrrrr
Ex 1.6hdi van now 3 seater 1.4 multispace

Why do you need an ECU? What problems are you getting?
I think if you send your existing ECU BSI etc. to the
above company they'll be able to sort out any problems.

Down to to cost,heard its expensive to get them repaired.

Its the ECU THATS knackered,but the Auto Electrician thats got my van reckons I need the full kit,cos they're all coded

The ECUs can be unlocked, most quite cheaply (£50-upwards). That saves the need to code one in. BSI can also be virginised from a donor unit, and then coded to your car. If you just swap all that you will have mileage issues on the dash as well.

You'll lose nothing by sending your ECU and BSI to bba-reman.
They will sort it out for you and most likely when you get them back you'll be able to
fit them to the van and drive away.
(BTW I neither work for the above company nor do I know anyone who does. )
