Probably been answered before, but...
Is there a way to stop van going into Eco mode?
Know it saves a flat battery, but radio will take days to flatten and annoying when interior light goes off when working in the back.
Martin.

Welcome.
has been asked a couple of times, and we have found no as the answer. There may be a setting in the ECU but we aren't sure.

I have wired the permanent live from my car stereo, direct to the battery via the LHD option plastic plate in passenger footwell. Fittted a rubber grommet in plastic plate and used 15 amp wire from stereo via an inline 10 amp fuse.
Works a treat, but must remember to turn off??

Thanks Adam,
Sounds like a good idea, and simple too.
While you were at it you could have installed a small auxillary fuse box, with say 4 fused feeds to enable other items to be added in the future.
Always thought it a good idea to have one of the two 12v (cigar) sockets permanent live. Useful.

Yep good one........ didn't really think about that at the time though, did the feed at the same time as fitting my twin angry van man air horns. So have spliced two wires to a spade terminal, then to battery. Runs back and forth to cab, relay and fuse for airhorns.
Could have cut down on wiring with the box me thinks??

Angry van man air horns... Nice.
Don't get angry anymore, mellowed with age.
But air horns are superb for waking up the visually challenged!

I think it is shocking that Citroen take the option away from dissarmimg this bloody annoying mode.
They must have had so many complaints over this.
I think I would even consider not buying another car Citroen or otherwise with this stupid option.
Pete [ a truly pissed off eco mode owner].
In fact while I`m in a moaning mood, 2 things piss me off about the Mk3 Berling
shitty cheap plastic, and eco mode.
CITROEN...TAKE NOTE.
2010 artic silver VTR with EXTRAS.......

But it is SO annoying!:censored:
Spoils what is a superb car/van.
But....
If all we have to moan about is eco mod, then proves how excellent the Berlingo is.:woop:
But it is SO annoying!:censored:
