Citroen website = 120 G/KM.

My new 2013 (2012 model) log book = 125 G/KM.
120 G/KM = £30 tax.
125 G/KM = £130 tax.

If everyone suddenly rushed to a car with twenty quid of tax instead of £120, I expect prices would go up immediately, as the infrastructure cost plus whatever margin they aspire to on operations, is unlikely to be met by such an amount.

If you relied on the website figure when making your purchase then I think you have a right to reject the transaction under Sale of Goods Act as your purchase was not as described. Unlikely you will persuade them to take it back unless you persevere (Trading Standards etc), but compensation should be available. Ownership 10 years times extra tax payable?

The Co2 emissions are being reduced all the time, my 09 xtr is 147 but later models are 139. Unless the 120 is a mistake on the website it will apply to cars being made now. The brochure has presumably not been updated. It would also depend on the Co2 emission for the car that was on the website at the time you did the deal as to whether you can take this any further.

1.6HDi van £215.
1.6HDi m/s £135.
Going to buy multispace next, take out back seats, and limo tint the rear windows.
And the insurance is cheaper....
