Hi all!

well I stumbled on this forum which is great because I own a lovely Berlingo (2004 model) and I have a question or 2..........
Sounds pretty much like me when I found it..... welcome and ask away to your hearts content.

ok Ron,

I've got a 2004 lingo with 54k on the clock. When am I due to do the cam belt?

That'll mash your brain for a while I hope
At 9 years I would change it purely on age.The lubricant in the tensioners & w/pump will be degraded.
It's cheaper (& more convenient) to do it early rather than expensive repair work.
That's just my opinion.Confusedalut:

And another thats always stumped me.

When I bought my van the V5 (logbook) said Berlingo Enterprise HDI which is what it says on the back of the van. However when I insured it and gave my reg number they found my van to be a Berlingo 600 HDI LX. Is the Enterprise badge purley a trim spec badge or am I insuring the wrong van? It was very confusing at the time of insuring as they told me a Berlingo Enterprise HDI does not exsist!
There's a thread here about eng identifying,it should tell all you need to know. The cc will help.Good luck.
HDi is the common rail & is a nippy lump,so it's either a 2.0 or 1.6.
