My cambelt was last renewed on 26/9/08 but its only done 15000 miles since ! But the belts getting on for 5 years old ?
Should i be looking at getting it renewed ?
Its a 2001 DW8 .

Ive decided to go ahead and get it renewed , once i have something in my head like this it wont go away till i have piece of mind .
A good local garage is doing the work . Cambelt kit and new water pump £265 all in ..

Cambelt is every 150K or 10yrs.

Its 72k miles and most advise to halve the mileage and years if used for short journeys ...

Good idea -much cheaper than a valve vs piston altercation.
Not Chevron Motors is it?
It is on my to do list.
