LED bulb
#1
Had a little incident with the tractor today -and as a result Ive had to reconfigure the trailer lights from twin reverse/twin fog arrangement to a one -of -each setup.
There was a spare pair of Led bulbs leftover so I tried them in the indicator lamps.
Understandably the bypass relay took the miniscule current being drawn as bulb failure and stopped bleeping.
However in the rush to get the kettle on I left them flashing on hazards and when I came out with said beverage the relay was squeaking.
A few more minutes and it was in full bleep.
The bulbs were cheap ebay ones admittedly and had got quite warm (horrible dull miserable bluegrey output)but I wouldnt have thought they would start to draw such an increased current.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Run them in parallel with some 10watt 10 Ohms (or thereabouts) resistors
they'll work fine......when you get some decent ones, that is!!
The Older I get the Better I Was!  Cool
