Which fuse is the heater blower?
#1
Hi, my heater fan is stuck on full blast constantly. I have seen there is a cheap way of fixing it but for now I just want to pull the fuse out so it is bearable to drive.

It is a 54 plate 2.0 hdi with aircon. The fuse tray in under the steering wheel says siemens on it.

Which fuse do I need to pull? Is there a diagram anywhere? If I go trying random fuses will I regret that?

Thanks

You can't do it that way as the fuse controls other things.

Peel back the carpet under the passenger footwell and you will see a black wire which connects to the large round blower unit. Pull out that wire as a temp fix and the unit will have no power.

I did exactly that when mine went wrong while I was on holiday in Scotland.

You will need a new resistor pack to fix the blower. Lots of threads on here about how to do it and ebay for buying.
