I've got a VTR and it's ridiculous that it doesn't come with this.
Bigger car than my old Mark 2, but there's literally nowhere to put anything.

Got one from my local scrap yard - DA Autoparts in Dumfries - cost £30. Now does anyone know how to fit it? I take it I have to remove the old low one before fitting the new one and use the fixings to secure the new one?

You need the base section as well, which holds the storage box in place.

Got the full monty, base section with two cup holders at the rear and the console with sliding lid just like in the images above, OK it needed a bit of a clean up - that's what dish washers are for - but better value than ether eBay or Peugeot (£95+VAT from Pug).

Fitted it in about 20-mins this morning. Take the 4-retaining nuts and bolts off, remove the hand-break plastic sides and lift the old one off. Bit of a struggle to get the new one on as you have to present it sideways to the hand-break (move both seats as far aft as you can) once you get the hand break thru the gap is just a case of lining up the fwd posts and read bolt holes and bobs-yer-uncle. Replace the nuts and bolts and then put the plastic sides of the hand break back on then clip the console box back in place. Job done!
