Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive mobile alarm fitting company in the Kent area so I can get an alarm fitted to my mk2 van?
Try one of these:

Cheers I had tried that but wondered if anyone on here had any experience of any company in particular and therefore would recommend?
If you're worried about someone stealing your tools or the contents of the van I would
have high security deadlocks fitted. The way things are at the moment Joe Public tends
to ignore car alarms sounding and would almost certainly not call the Police. The Police
would probably turn up two hours later in any case.
If you were to attempt to intercede when your van is actually being stolen you're risking
a severe beating. So just make it difficult for the villains.
