Tried all if the above sadly still nothing does anyone have any other suggestions or know of anyone breaking an r reg or any other age that use the same pump? 205 pumps are meant to be the same but not 100% sure

Now and again it took a while to start after I got it started it ran like a pig for a few minutes then went fun until I started to coast at a junction then it would cut out but would start again straight away' until one day it cut out and hasn't started again took the little fuel stopper out and still nothing a mechanic looked at it and said it needed a new fuel pump
