Hi all still haven't had any luck with fuel pump my last post explained the what happened and now my problem is I can't find one to fit every one I see I'm told its wrong found one on ebay mailed the guy but when I said the one I removed had four wires he told me the one I need s the one with 3 wires coming out of it this is the one that's been removed from an r reg 97 the same as mine, anyone know why he would say the one I need has only 3 wires, I wasn't aware my van had an immobiliser until the wires where cut and the light and alarm went off' any help would be appreciated thanks a lot all
Mod-424149 LPE

This is what's on my fuel pump could anyone tell me if any of these pumps would do one of them is out of an r reg 97 berlingo the same as mine but code is different does anyone know what the difference is and would any of these fit my van 'thanks
Been told a 306 turbo 1.8 will fit is this correct and how much work would it need to get it to fit, also how easy visit to bypass the immobiliser 'thanks
Why cant the old pump be refurbed there are plenty of specialist injection firms out there and your pump is not that high tech. You said in another post that you were told its had it but what is actually wrong with it or was the mechanic just taking the easy way out.
Are we there yet????? No we fecking ain`t  gggggrrrrrrr

He doesn't know exact problem do you know what kind of money is in getting it refurbished?
Your best bet is to speak to a few specialists for advice and a price, most of them do a collection and delivery service. Its cheaper than a new pump even if you can get one and it will be rebuilt as good as new and set up and trying to bypass the immobilizer is a whole new world you don`t want to get into. Just do a search and get ringing they may be even able to advice on what other motor its fitted to but bear in mind i could be calibrated slightly different.

I've rang one company in cumbria but they told me they would have to get it in an stripped before they could give me a price and I wanst wanting to send it in and end up payin more than its worth, a guy who was helping cut armoured steele cut all the wires without thinking to mark themand now we don't know which is which is there any diagrams on here that u know of or do u know another way around it? Thanks for the help
Do a search on the forum because I seem to remember a couple of weeks ago there was a post or a link on here about a guy that had removed the immobilizer part by drilling various parts on the pump but I cant be sure if it was your pump it was an old type. Perhaps some of the other guys can remember the link or thread and post it on here.
