any ideas no fuel to injectors
#1
Hi all again I've put a few posts up about my r reg 97 diesel 1.8 due pump but reading a few posts people have had same prob( takes a few turns to start runs like a pig for a man, cuts out while driving and hen won't go again this is what's happened to mine, not in every case the pump has been to blame , we cut steel of solenoid but the wires got cut without being marked took stopper out it did start but wouldn't tick over then would cutout now with the wires cut the immobiliser light and alarm are going off when I try to start, took it to a garrage and he just told me it needed a new pump as there was no fuel getting to injectors but looking at a few posts people have had similar problems without the ex pence of a new pump, does any one on here have any ideas of what else could be causing this problem or know how to tell if it is the pump that's nakerd' any help would be great as I'm desperate to get my van back on the road as its my only way of transport to work and back
