Hi folks
Just fitted a new battery to my 2004 1.9D partner. All been fine until today when all the dash lights came on. Headlights wouldn't turn off and none of the guages work
Got the car home and disconnected the battery. Any thoughts ?
Is it dead. It's only got about 48000 miles
Cheers
Darren

AA checked out the bsi unit and it appears knackered. Any ideas how much to fix?

Did you actually try the BSI reset ??? All credit to the AA but how did they give such a dire diagnosis ?

We tried the reset suggested 5 or 6 times with no success.
Got the car back from our local Citroen/Peugeot specialist who confirmed it was the bsi that was dead. £500 later and all is well !!!!!!!!!
The AA guy plugged his computer into the diagnostic socket and all was well. As soon as it as disconnected, everything went bonkers again
The local workshop were very good in only charging us an hours labour. The rest was the new bsi unit
Thanks for your help guys
