possible tire sizes 2007 van

There are 175/65/14 c Tires on the van.
I am wondering if it is possible to get a slightly bigger tire, something like 175/70/14C or 185/65/14 c fitted?
Any experiences?

I got the following tires: 175 / 70/ 14 reinforced Lasa, which are just that big higher to keep the van of the road. Drives great, - but have to mind the speedo.
the 15" rims I inspected at the breakers were all a different offset, so they would have interfered with the wheel housing in the back.

My 15 inch wheels on my 2006 Mk2 Partner are 6JH2 ET18. These are standard on the escapade version that has 40mm extra ground clearance.
The bigger wheels (185 65 15) account for about 11mm of this.
There isn't much clearance between the tyre and the coil spring and I think this will give me trouble when it comes time to use snow chains.

They are not that easy to come by,(picassos and 406 sometimes have the same size) and it might be easier to find a set of scrap alloys.

I'm contemplating a shift down to 14 inch steel rim with 175 70 14 tyres for the winter.

So far I haven't been able to confirm if this is a standard\allowable configuration on the high clearance escapade model.

Does your driver manual list allowable rim and tyre sizes?
I don't have an owners\drivers manual, but on other cars that I have owned, the manual did list the allowed rim configuration, e.g. standard steel rims, wide alloys, recommended winter tyres size and rim size etc.

on the MK1 and Mk2 the 14 inch rims are 5.5J with an offset of 23 or 24.

Both these and the 15inch wheels 6JH2 ET18 are listed in the pug workshop manual for use on the partner and partner van, so they should be ok for you.

I just can't find any information about my escaped high ground clearance version.

Oh yes, you will need the 4 stud with 108mm center distance. The hub hole diameter is 65mm or 65.1mm. I think mine are 65.1, but I did manage to squeeze on a set of 65mm without too much force\emmery paper!
