Is it OK to fit a manual passenger side replacement wing mirror in place of an electric one by just leaving the electrical conector disconnected, I never use the electrical adjustment and the manual ones are much cheaper.

That's what I did about 5 years ago and never been a problem although the heated bit also no longer defrosts with the rear heated window turned on.

you can have it if you pay the postage and explain what it is. btw I don't think the mirror is heated just electrically adjustable

I've attached a couple of pictures. One shows the white plug end with five wires.

The other shows the heater terminals (tan and black pair).

Does it tally with what you've seen?

Yes I think it does the two wires are visible were the back cover is damaged. I assume the white socket will only become apparent when I take the mirror off. I can also see three wires to the motor. I will order the replacement mirror today. May get to next week before I change it [img][Image: 126faf4.jpg][/img]

Yes, those are the glass heating wires. It'll have the white plug as pictured above.

That's fine. I'll message an email address to send request for payment, to. Is ten quid acceptable?
