Idle speed problem
#1
Hi all! My 2001 berlingo has a idle speed problem. It either runs too fast or too slow and sometime cuts out. Also when lifting off the gas it sounds and feels as though you are using the engine as a brake with no revs! Any ideas welcome!

You don't say whether it's petrol or diesel.
Either way check the fuel & air filters first.

Is it showing any fault codes ? Last time I had that problem on a car it was the air flow meter and throttle position sensor, it could be both or either if it's petrol.
So where does this bit go then ?
