Hi,can anyone tell me why my rear doors won't lock. The key turns to the open position fine but not the closed. I don't want to force the key incase it snaps. Any ideas?

Do you mean van rear doors, multispace sliding doors or boot?

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Yes sorry I mean the rear doors. I don't have side doors. It use to work fine then slowly got stiffer to lock now you can't turn the key. The drivers door was the same but this seems to have cured itself.

Powdered graphite often woks in sticky locks as well. If it's corrosion then WD-40 will work wonders.

All lubed up but still no joy. I managed to get it to lock out of about 100 attempts. What next?

Does the key turn freely in the lock and it still doesn't lock or does the key not turn inspite of the lube job?

The key won't turn anti clockwise in the barrel. Clockwise is fine.

Ah so, well sounds like it's time for a lock smith. That's all I can think of at this point.
