Rear brake shoes m59 berlingo
Hi iam a new member running a 2008 90bhp berlingo I just changed the front discs and pads no problem but how hard are the rear pads to change::O
Rear pads are easy to change, you undo the two 13mm securing bolts and take off the caliper.
You will need to wind back the piston of the caliper, clockwise.
Fit the new pads with a smidgen of lube, and then when finished, pump, the brake pedal before working the handbrake.
Sorry I ment the rear shoes, I bought I kit to day includes new cylinders but the nut for the brake line into the rear of the cylinder has now rounded off!!!!!!!!
Are the cylinders leaking or seized ? They are not usually included in a brake kit.
So where does this bit go then ?
I replied to your other post about the same thing, best to keep only one thread going !

Let us know how you get on with heat for removal.
If you end up failing you'll either need a garage to sort it or have access to tools.
