2005 hdi help
#1
Good evening,

I have a 2005 berlingo hdi that is cutting out when cold but only when I change from first to second with no engine management lights on or faults saved. After it cuts out it is difficult to start but will rev slowly to about 2k then dies again and dies straight away if revved hard.

Has anyone got any ideas??

Sounds like a classic fuel starvation problem to me, change the fuel filter for a start.

I had the same problem. I changed the fuel filter, and made sure any water was drained from the filter holder. This cured the problem.
