Boot Lock Question
#1
Just taken delivery of a new Berlingo Mk3.

Mrs B meets me at station and is usually parked 5 mins before I arrive, engine stopped/ignition off. Finding that I cannot then open boot to stow the eponymous bike and briefcase. Works OK after cycling the locks.

Feature or fault?

Handbook is silent

If she hasn't opened a door after she arrives then everything is probably locked - a feature. Doors lock automatically when driving over 5 mph unless you disable that (which I wouldn't). Just press the square button with the blinking red LED and all will open.

I prefer 'cabin doors to manual' at all times and disabled the auto locking before leaving the dealer so I don't think its that.

Will experiment some more this week.

You can turn this locking off. Just press locking/unlocking button and hold for about 3-4 seconds. Then you will see info on the screen "auto locking disabled" - seems like that. If you wish to restore auto locking again hold tis button.
