Clock Won't Update
#1
(1.9D Multispace) I've just replaced the radio (wouldn't eject CDs) with a spare one I had lying around and managed to figure out which wires to swap so the radio kept the memory. However the clock display only displays the time at which you switch the engine on. If you press the button to set the time the the time updates to the current time but then sits at that time until you press the button again.

Obviously it's related to me swapping over the radio and presumably there must be another wire which should be connected to a live feed or swapped over. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

I've just realised that the part of the display that says whether the doors are still open is also not updating

Here's the wiring diagram. Make sure you have a constant 12v on pin 9 of the display (7215) and switched 12v on pin 7. Make sure you have a negative on pin 8. The constant 12v comes from fuse 4 in the Bsi. The switched supply is from fuse 14 in the Bsi.

Thanks, I'll have a look later and see what's happened. Odd that changing the radio caused this as I haven't changed the car wiring, Perhaps a wire is loose and fell out or something.

If everything looks ok, try a Bsi reset.Confusedalut:

Well that was odd. I checked the wiring and found I had permanent 12V on both 7 and 9. But to measure them I had to unplug the display. Plugged it back in and all seems to be ok. Thanks for the help though, it's always useful to have this info.
