Changing light bulb on the radio display

Hi Guys,

I am trying to change the light bulb on my radio display as sometime I can't hardly read what it says...

How do you open the display?

Is it a simple job?

Any helps would be appreciated..

Yes its a doodle on a mk2 just grip the grey cover and pull it up and towards you and it will come away, Its only held in place by 4 spring clips I think. Then you need a torq screewdriver to get the display out and its 3 small bulbs in the back, they just turn and come out I cant remember what type they are but only a few pence

Just did mine recently. Found "The Range" did the bulbs and bulbs in holders for the same price, about a quid for 2 bulbs. Didn't notice the bulbs failing until all 3 had gone!!!!

When you pull multifuntion display towards you have something soft to put in the gap that appearson one side then the other. Saves marking the plastic.
