I have an intermittent fan.is it likely to be the fan itself or just the switch.

Engine cooling fan or heater blower fan? If the blower it may be a resistor pack fault.

I have an intermittent fan . Blows hot and cold sometimes but improves with a bunch of flowers and boxes of chocolates , especially on anniversaries.
