51 plate berlingo crew van for sale Birmingham. 93k Navy blue
#1
Hello all, I'm selling my 51 plate Navy blue berlingo 1.9 diesel with legal foldable crew seats conversion. Birmingham area.

I'll get pictures up later, just decided to sell now so need to give it a wash etc first.

I bought it 2009 when I was going to go self employed. It didn't transpire so I have only used it as a family vehicle!

Now with another kid coming this summer we need a family car so I'm buying my brother's off him and now I'm getting the ball rolling on the van sale.

I'm asking for the full £1500 as I've spent some money on it recently, got a full service done and the cambelt changed. There was also a fuel leak at the filler pipe when you filled the van so all that plastic manifold was replaced recently too and a hose. Wing mirror was broken, replaced it, battery is fine, generally has been a good van. There was an issue with weird lights coming on but the auto electrician said people had messed around in the fuse area)with cross overs or something like that) and he corrected it. The only flashing light now is the airbag light from time to time. Apparently this is common too. The replacement dash might cure that one as well. New exhaust was fitted recently. Most of this work was done in the last 3 months. MOT till feb 2012. Road tax until 31/8/11.

The only issue really is the fuel gauge indicator in the dash is stuck on half full. I just fill up the van and top it up again to full every 200 miles or so. An auto electrician tested it and said that it's the dash itself and to get one from a breakers yard which I have done but not fitted it incase it alters the mileage for the worse. You can have that instrument dash.

The fuel level indicator in the tank has been changed too so it's not that either.

I have receipts for the work done and quite a bit of history with prev mot's.

Looking at the old mot's and paperwork, the van originally belonged to a pharmacy in the north east of england, then was bought by a security firm in Scotland, hence the back seats and my father spotted it up there(I have family in Scotland) and brought it down here.

The crew van seats can be folded down and it can be used as a normal van if desired.

I've got builders in doing some work and i have to go and pick up this car some day soon so I'll reply when i have a chance to log back in.

Thanks for looking.

Any questions, just ask.

Hello mate - 93000 miles, just had cam belt done and a full service.

I'l have a look through for any other big jobs or services. I wasn't given an actual service log book with stamps in it with the van, I only have receipts for what I have had done and prev owners mot's and my mot's.

I don't think it's had anything major in the past.

I'm only selling to get a car as I don't actually need a van now and it's awkward fitting 2 baby seats in a crew van!

Cheers.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Hello folks - I cancelled the ebay auction as I had second thoughts about selling back then but now as I have 2 vehicles to maintain I have decided just to sell the van as I'm not planning on going self employed any time soon so I don't need the van.

The mot is due at the end of January. It shouldn't need anything as I paid out at the last MOT and have hardly used the van this year.

If you want a bargain berlingo then I'm open to offers.
