New Berlingo owner....fuel gauge not accurate!
#1
Hello all! I bought today a Citroen Berlingo on a 52 plate, 1.9 diesel. I've been looking for one for a while now as the internal size of the car is just what I was looking for. It runs just perfect, but I have noticed the petrol gauge doesn't read correctly; seems to get down to about 1/4, and at that point it's empty!!! Any ideas where I should start....sensor or float??

Thanks

Hi & welcome. My first op would be to fill up beyond 1/2,it may only be the float sticking.

Yes the previous owner always kept it topped up, but has let it go down to check what you have suggested so I don't think it is stuck
