This must be the strongest wind ive seen for the month of May ever. On our way to Asda today there must have been at least 8 trees been blown over and now a large tree branch has fallen onto the telephone wire behind out house!

I subscribe to another forum, ShipsAIS. On that forum today, somebody from the Isle of Man said all ferries had been suspended until the storm calms down. Apparently persistant gale force 9 gusting up to gale force 12 which is a hurricane strength.
Been waiting for the chance to go fishing (coarse) but over the last two weekends it has blown a hooley so meeting abandoned....

Stena Line between Stranraer and Belfast are cancelled.
Acording to the BBC Glasgow and the West can expext winds upto 80mph!

iv a book of tracks and good biking roads mag in the overhead shelf. yep got the corner of the book in the head when it fell out.
lesson to be learned, dont put anything that will hurt in the overhead shelf
