1.4 Heater Water Hoses
#1
Quick question as I really am challenged for time to investigate this one "in the field".

The 1.4 Mk1 and Mk2 apparently use different water hoses. Are they interchangeable - as in, can I put the later hoses on the earlier motor?

Thanks, Adam.

Have checked the part No's for a TU3JP engine For the Mk1 & 2.
They don't match and also they look different on the drawings.
These are the hoses that clip into the heater matrix through the bulk head.Confusedalut:

Yes, mine had me confused as it has the later (Xantia) style sideways push clip - not the spring steel double garter - yet it's original and according to the listings, not supposed to be like that.

There are two companies selling reproductions for the LHD market - Mafix and MC. The latter is Polish; I note the last set of genuine matrix hoses I bought was made in "Pologne" as Citroën sought to have it. Price not bad; less than 40 Euro a set with TVA included.
