MOT FAIL
#11
They are a right pain to install, and then the bleed-up takes forever. I shudder to think what UK salt might mean the unions look like. Seriously, allow quite a few hours for this one unless you can reverse pressure bleed or vac from the cylinders up to the reservoir.

Taking the caps lock button off to type in lower case usually helps to pass the MOT as people can read your postings easier and then reply more often.... hint :whistle:

Regarding the horn take a look at this thread...

Brakes, check all is free in the cylinders and pivot points.

Wheel bearing, just replace it end of story, can you do it yourself ?

Halfords, use a local " normal " garage and develop a relationship / rapport for the future.

well i have to hold my hands up on the Exhaust as both sides of clip holding backbox and middle cat pipe rusted badly to the point that backbox came away with 1 inch of cat pipe.
Eurocarparts quoted £90 for middle section, found cat repair pipe £15

Already got new back silencer £30

Bit of info below for the bearing change and rear brakes.
The bearings are usually in quite tight and a hydraulic press makes things easier.
Back brakes - could be the self adjuster mechanism is not working or the cylinder is seized up.
As for the horn, could be bad earth or connection as in other posts.
