what oil in 1.6 hdi berlingo

i put comma fully sythetic 5w 40 see some people using 5 30 is there any difference

The difference could well be the price of a dpf or worse, a turbocharger.
QUARTZ INEO ECS is the only low SAPS oil recommended by PEUGEOT and CITROEN.
NORM PSA PEUGEOT & CITROEN B71 2290.
However any brand of oil that is said to adhere to the above spec. will be fine.

Comma recommend Syner-D 5W-40 which, strictly speaking does not meet the correct specification.
They don't appear to market an oil which does.
The one thing about the 1.6HDi that needs to be taken very seriously is the engine oil used.
Personally I would drain the oil and put in the right grade. Neilsen CDG will deliver the right stuff to your door probably cheaper than the price you paid for the Comma.

Ooooh....dunno about qualified, Addo...that's going a bit far....but if you read up on oil, CAT/FAP and of course turbo failures it's all connected.
