bloody stupid , thats what I am.....

driving down into village this morning and noticed postman......so backed up a little and didnt notice the wall.....

yes you guessed it smashed my ------ing car...

All the rear nearside light, rear bumper all bowed in, nearside rear panel behing wheel all scrapped....what a mess.
Phoned insurance to make claim and loose my no claims [no no claims cover] excess £200.00. wow how stupid. Taken all my goodies off just in case they try to say its modified, they know about my wheels, I`ve paid extra cover for them.
I`m pig sick and taking it out on family now, especially partners teenage son who laughed and took the piss out of my driving, when he saw it.
Days without it now whilst being repaired, take all my goodies out, oh and so many pockets /cubby holes full of 14 months crap.
Least no one was standing behind......and all because I thought I would help postman out to save him coming up farm track.
Stupid.....

because Martin he keeps bringing me bloody bills, told him if he didnt stop I would take action....just missed him and got the wall instead.

I assumed to replace nearside light , new panel below it and new bumper and labour costs would come to more than 200.00 excess plus increase in premium next time.
Any idea guys.Mk3 2010 model.
Tell me I made right decision......to go insurance.....
