Hello to all, I've recently bought a 110XTR late 2009.
When trying to adjust the drivers side mirror (UK right hand drive, only electric adjustment), I cannot adjust it very far outwards, I can still see the side of the Berlingo. However turning it inwards I can see myself. It's as if the starting point is too far in.
Is this a fault?
Thanks and love the car.

Not so much a fault as a production cost saving omission. Citroen have not 'right hand drived' the mirrors. ie they are set up for left hand drive.

Thanks, would the UK allow vehicles to be allowed on the road with a spec which isn't fit for purpose, would a rear mirror that didn't face the rear be allowed.

I wonder if the glass in your mirror has been replaced at some time and not properly seated? Mine shows the offside quiet clearly. Be careful if you try to remove/replace the glass it needs caution not to crack it.

Tbf, I don't find it much of a problem & I'm guessing it is still within UK spec but I noticed this myself & guessed the reason. If you sit in the front passenger seat you will notice the mirrors can adjust perfectly. Its possible the mirrors have been rhd'ed on later mk3s.

Spoke to the after sales people, got to ring them back to let them know if the whole of the mirror was correctly unfolded and seated, it is.
He asked if I can get it to them tomorrow for a check.

They adjusted the drive as far as it would go, so slightly better but not ideal.
I might take a trip to a Citroen dealer and sit in one and try adjusting the mirror.

Citroen mechanic had a quick look and said its ok in terms of the operation and agreed it maybe as Opensauce says "set up for left hand drive".
Trevor, do you not have a large blind spot on there off side?
Thanks

I bet you could oversize the motor module fixing holes and shim it slightly.
