Screenwash bottle
#1
I have a leaking screenwash bottle...
Not the bottle itself, but the filler neck.
Only noticed yesterday. Is the neck (it is seperate from the bottle) supposed to seal to the bottle? Or not?
Bad design if it isn't; difficult to fix if it is.

Is the neck just to aid filling, and should I only be filling the bottle and not the neck aswell?Confusedcratch:

I had this problem......... took out neck and cleaned all the mould off the rubber o ring with a bit of meths.... and around the washer reservoir entrance.. Whacked a line of marine silicon sealant around the o ring's recess, popped on o ring:lol: and plugged back in... hey presto... no leaks!!!!

Thanks Adam.
Job for tomorrow.
Thought it must seal somehow, on quick inspection couldn't see an o-ring. Could be wrong. It has been known...Confusedillyme:
