Hi ,
Am thinking of buying a berlingo car so as to use it to go Camping..
Can anyone please tell me if one can sleep in the back with rear seats folded down ... What is the length ( in ft and inches ) will I have ?
I see lots of 1.4 petrol models for sale ..
I prefer this the bigger Diesel to save on Road Tax and insurance costs ..
Anything I should look for when buying ?
Thanks.

What series of Berlingo? Early ones are too short.

I can sleep in the back of an M59 (2002-2006) model with the seats down. I'm 185cm and 100kgs, or 6'1" and 16 stone.
I might have had a drink or 4 though..

You'd be diagonally laid out, unless your stated height includes stiletto heels.

I remember it was quite comfy on a camping mattress, and I was quite drunk. I am now going to have to lie in it tomorrow when the missus gets home and see how I did it. I'll even take a picture.

I made a camping bed thingy for the back of my Mk2. To allow me to lie out flat the seats have to be right forward and leant forwatrd as far as they will go and it still ain't quite long enough. I'm about 5' 10" or so.
