New pump fitted (from breakers) and all running fine. Bottom 6mm hex mounting bolt was a pain to get at until the pump would rock towards the radiator but generally a straightforward job.
Thanks for help from contributors.

Hi All,
I have a problem which I'm wondering is related - I had a broken O/S spring last week which I've had repaired, although now my steering seem hard and lumpy.
Before you all shout "take it back to the garage" I just wondered if it could be a coincidental power steering issue?
Anyone have anything similar?
Simon.
